Roofs fail for reasons that are specific to the structure, its age, its ventilation and its exposure, and none of that can be judged from a web page. No contractor-client relationship

Reading this site, submitting the inspection form or calling us does not by itself create a contract for work. A contractor-client relationship begins only when both parties sign a written agreement describing the scope, the materials and the price.

Estimates and pricing

Any figure quoted on this site, over the phone or in early correspondence is indicative only. Prices depend on what we find once the roof is inspected and, in some cases, once the covering is opened up. Only a written, itemised estimate signed by both parties is binding, and it may be revised if concealed damage such as rotten decking is uncovered after work begins. Nothing on this site is an offer to contract.

Accuracy of content

We try to keep this site accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete, correct or up to date. Building codes, permit requirements, manufacturer specifications and material availability change, and they differ between municipalities. Content may be revised or removed at any time without notice.

Do not attempt roof work yourself

Any description of roofing methods on this site is provided to help you understand the work, not to enable you to carry it out. Roof work involves falls from height, power tools and structural risk, and it is a leading cause of serious injury in the trades. New Jersey Roofing LLC accepts no responsibility for loss, injury or damage arising from anyone acting on information published here.

New Jersey Roofing LLC is registered with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs as a Home Improvement Contractor, NJ HIC #13VH00000000, and carries $500,000 in general liability coverage. Certificates are available on request. Statements on this site about credentials describe our position at the time of writing; ask us for current documentation before engaging us.
